South State at Silliman

Today, Emma and her team competed at the South State Track Meet at Silliman. Unfortunately, I was late and missed two of Emma's races, the 300M Hurdles and the 800M Relay. However, Emma did great, coming in 3rd in the 300M Hurdles with her personal best time (47.07 seconds!) and 2nd in the 800M Relay with their best time (1:50.64), breaking the school record! Way to go, girls!

Our girls ran a great race. They ran their best time and broke another school record with this race! Way to go!

The 100M Hurdles:

Emma's next race was the 100M Hurdles. She had another great time, running this race in 17.36 seconds!

The rain finally came and the meet was delayed. After a good soaking, the meet continued with only a few races left. The last race for our girl Emma was the 1600M Relay. Her relay team ran yet another fantastic race, setting their best time and...you guessed it...breaking another school record! In an incredible photo finish, our girls came in 2nd. They ran this race in 4:18.52, and the first place team ran a 4:18.51! Unbelievable! Great job, girls!
